Bums Bus videos follow a German reality format built around street-pickup scenarios, comic introductions and encounters in a moving van. Part of LetsDoeIt, the channel uses a driver-and-sidekick setup, with pranks and stunts preceding the street pickups. The action takes place primarily in the back of the vehicle, with POV shots contributing to the informal, participant-level presentation. The pickup premise works in both directions: some scenarios pair men approached on the street with female performers already on board, while others place a male performer in the van before the women arrive. The dialogue is in German. The cast includes amateurs and professional performers. Some encounters move outside after the van stops in a secluded location.
