How Busty Dusty got into dancing sounds like a soap opera or a cable TV movie. She swore it was the truth and we've always known her as an honest girl. "The real reason I ever got into dancing in the first place is because I was stuck in Brazil and my mother paid for me to get back home. I came back to the U.S., had to pay my mother back, didn't like this thing hanging over my head and dancing was the best way to clean it up. I used to be wild and crazy. "I had been doing hair for this music group and I was on tour with them. They were touring in Bolivia and I met some people who I became friends with. They wanted me to go to Brazil with them. You see, I was a real free spirit. So I went to get my visa to go to Brazil and it was going to take two weeks. So, I said "Fuck it," I don't care, I'll go anyway. Long story short, Dusty was robbed of all of her documents and everything else in Brazil. She was stranded in South America. "So I called my mother and she got me out. I guess I really didn't have to pay her back right away, but when I owe somebody money it's very heavy on my head. I can't stand that. I don't want to owe anybody anything. So, I started dancing.
